Chemical Cleaning

Chemical Cleaning offers a cost effective method to either remove internal product deposits from piping systems and vessels or perform pre-commission cleaning of specialist piping and vessels.

It is often the preferred method where pipe diameter, length, access layout or pressure limitations preclude other means.

Scale/deposits form on most metal surfaces usually due to high temperature and heat transfer and steam evaporation effects.

Examples of scale deposits are found in Boilers, Feed water systems, Evaporators, Cooling water systems and Petroleum Processes: Heat exchangers, Condensers, and other process equipment.

When cleaning pipelines, Chemical Cleaning is often assisted by Batch Pigging and can be a cost effective method by greatly reducing chemical and disposal volumes.
